El Colegio – Single Origin Filtro
We have been looking for a bean that can be used for both espresso and our filter roasts – and we found it in the Finca MISIONES. Depending on the roasting, you can develop certain taste potentials in a coffee. For our filter roasting from El Colegio, we have chosen a medium-level roasting, so this special coffee can develop light and fruity balanced notes of red berries and apricot and a pleasant full-bodied body. El Colegio – Filtro is the latest roasting that we have created from the excellent coffee from Finca Misiones. Although closely related to his brother El Colegio espresso, this medium roast was specially developed for filter coffee such as, Pour Over, Chemex or French Press …. Enjoy it!!!

The Coffee: Washed processed Arabica bean is characterized by its mild acidity and a velvety sweetness, which gives it a complex and balanced taste. Their clear aromas are reminiscent of ripe red berries and apricots.
Origin: Our Colombia single-origin Filter bean grows at heights between 1600m and 1800m, under the shade of lush avocado, cocoa, and macadamia trees, on rich volcanic soil
Roasting: In contrast to espresso roasting, we have chosen medium roasting for the filter preparation of this exceptional coffee. This is also called “American Roast”. The medium brown beans leave the roasting drum at 210 ° C and thus retain their pleasantly light acids and a full body.
